He was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Gold) in the National Day Honours 2012, and Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2004. In 2010, he was awarded the Public Relations in the Service of Mankind (PRISM) Award for Outstanding Public Relations Champion and the Singapore Human Resources Institute’s Leading CEO Award.

Clarence Ti was appointed as the Chief Executive of Vital on 2 January 2010. Vital is a shared services centre for the Singapore government for HR, payroll, finance, learning and travel services.
