Rules & Regulations

 

1. Teams must comprise of 4 to 6 persons (excluding supervisor).

2. Teams without a supervisor/advisor will not be eligible for the competition.

3. Team members must be from the same school.

4. Students graduating in December 2009 to February 2010 are welcome.

5. Incomplete registration forms submitted and registration fee of S$50 not received by 30 October 2009 will not be considered for entry into the competition.

6. Incomplete reports submitted will not be considered for entry into the Grand Final.

7. Late entries will not be accepted.

8. Registration fee not collected within one month from date of notification will be forfeited.

9. All submitted ideas and materials must be the original work of the participating team. Any plagiarism detected will lead to immediate disqualification.

10. All selected entries become the property of the Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) and will not be returned.
 

11. SHRI is not responsible for any entries lost in the process.
 

12. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained.

13. All winners are obliged to participate in all post-events promotion and publicity.
 

14. SHRI reserves the right to check the validity of registration information submitted by students at any stage during the Challenge and to request for copies of documents and/or student cards for verification.
 

15. Any team found to have submitted incorrect or misleading information could be disqualified at any time of the Challenge.   
 

16. SHRI reserves the right to modify any parts of the Challenge at any time.    
 

17. The name Singapore HR Challenge, its concepts, content, look-and-feel, logo and other graphic elements and organisation of competition guide and materials are property of SHRI.     
 

18. Teams will not be reimbursed for any materials or resources used in relation to any part of the Challenge.      
 

19. Teams and/or individual participants should liaise directly with SHRI before speaking with the media or accommodating any media requests.      

Payment

• Registration fee of S$50 is payable by cash or cheque by 30 October 2009.
   

• Via cheque
  - Please cross your cheque and make it payable to 'SHRI'
  - Remember to indicate your Team Leader's name, contact number and school/educational institution on the reverse of the cheque
   

• Via cash
  - Please make cash payments at SHRI during office hours:
  Weekdays 8.30am - 7.30pm
  Saturdays 9.00am - 2.30pm
