Employee Engagement Survey “It goes without saying that no company, small or large, can win over the long run without energised employees who believe in the mission and understand how to achieve it. That's why you need to take the measure of employee engagement at least once a year through anonymous surveys in which people feel completely safe to speak their minds.” Former GE Chairman and CEO Jack Welch Employee engagement, also called work engagement, is a concept wherein employees will act in a way that furthers their organisation's interests even when they have choices and situations to do otherwise. In today's uncertain times, managing employee engagement has quite a significant impact on making responsible and informed decisions that are beneficial to the organisation. The Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI), in collaboration with Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore, is conducting this study to assess the level of employee engagement among companies located in Singapore and suggest policies and strategies to further enhance the level of employee engagement.
