Employee
engagement, also called work engagement, is a concept
wherein employees will act in a way that furthers their
organisation's interests even when they have choices and
situations to do otherwise. In today's uncertain times,
managing employee engagement has quite a significant impact
on making responsible and informed decisions that are
beneficial to the organisation.
The
Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI), in collaboration
with Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore,
is
conducting this study to assess the level of employee
engagement among companies located in Singapore and suggest
policies and strategies to further enhance the level of
employee engagement.
