“I must say
that
SHRI Singapore HR Congress was an enjoyable and memorable
experience for me. I have learnt more information about human resource
management as well as getting to bond with my classmates. It was certainly
an eye opener because I saw many different foreign leaders who are experts
in the field of human resource management.”

Update on CPF and Understanding How the Changes Impact Employees
28 May 2009 | 1400 - 1600 | SHRI @ The Verge, Room 9
Forty HR practitioners were updated on the latest changes in CPF as well
as how these changes impact their employees. They also learnt about how
the changes impact individuals; and how CPF helps individuals in
retirement and healthcare related costs. The session ended with a
Question and Answer Session.
CPF is a comprehensive social security saving plan that helps ensure
that every Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident has funds for
retirement. The benefits of the CPF also include healthcare, home
ownership and asset enhancement. As CPF members ultimately own monies in
their CPF accounts, it is also their responsibility to ensure that there
will be sufficient savings to fund their retirement
and health related costs.

-
What are the recent CPF reforms and how the changes impact
individual?
-
How does CPF help in one’s retirement and healthcare related cost?
