It 2 June 2009 | 0930 - 1300 | SHRI @ The Verge, Room 9
Influenza A (H1N1) is a new flu virus that was first detected in April,
2009. The virus is spreading from person-to-person, sparking a growing
outbreak of illness in many countries world-wide.
Although Singapore’s Disease
Outbreak Response System Alert (DORSCON) status had since 11 May 2009,
stepped down from Orange to Yellow, organisations and the public should
still be vigilant against the virus.
The session covered
facts about the
virus, and equipped participants with the knowledge to put in place business continuity plans.
