This law has been widely seen as a ground-breaking piece of legislation

assisting her clients to ensure that their HR policies are legally
compliant with the requirements of the new law.
The presentations cover the following areas:

Hierarchy of labour laws /
regulations and the process to create the new law
-
The relationship between the Labour
Law and the new Employment Contract Law (ECL) / dispute resolution
and statistic
-
Key aspects of the new ECL
(explanation of the new provisions, contrast with common law
concepts)
- Written contracts / de-facto employment relationship
- Fixed term and non-fixed term employment
- Probation
- Part-time employment
- Mandatory consultation and the importance of the Employee Handbook
- Non-competition
-
Application of the laws to expatriates / perspectives of foreign
companies
-
The impact for employers preparing
for the changes
