  • SHRI moved to its new premises at Tekka Mall (2 Serangoon Road, Level 6)
  • Tianjin Government Officials’ visited to learn about Singapore’s HR system and the role of SHRI as the national professional HR body
  • SHRI supported community project, WINGS Headstart Fund, to assist needy young students in gaining a headstart in their education
  • SHRI 31st and 32nd Joint Graduation Ceremony was graced by Guests-of-Honour, Dr Amy Khor, MP for Hong Kah GRC and Mr Francis Zhan, President of the Association of Management Corporations in Singapore (AMCIS) respectively
  • Organised and hosted a closed-door dialogue session on prevailing HR issues with Dr Balaji Sadasivan, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Information Communications and the Arts
  • Hosted a 30-member Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) delegation from India for a 1.5 day education tour
  • Led the Singapore delegation to Brazil to bring over the torch of the 11th World HR Congress Singapore 2006 
  • Bhutan Delegation visited SHRI, as part of the Singapore International Foundation’s (SIF) initiative to promote Singapore to its international visitors
  • SHRI Forum 2004 – Business Effectiveness: What Companies Really Do, graced by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Lim Swee Say, Minister, Prime Minister’s Office, 2nd Minister for National Development & Deputy Secretary-General for NTUC, attracted more than 150 delegates to learn, share and network
  • Hosted an International Networking Session with Cambodian dignitaries
  • Delegates from University of Lucknow, India visited SHRI
  • Appointed by WDA (Singapore Work Development Agency) as a training provider for its Wage Restructuring Workshop
  • Launched new programmes: Diploma in Environmental, Safety and Health (DipESH), Diploma in Organisational Counselling (DipOC), Diploma in Compensation and Benefits Management (DipCBM) and Graduate Diploma in Training and Development (GDipTD)
  • Organised inaugural HR Services Fair @ SHRI
