MGSM Postgraduate Certificate in Management

The MGSM Postgraduate Certificate in Management provides an insight into fundamental management skills. Students are able to immediately enhance their career opportunities and lay the foundation for progression to the MGSM Postgraduate Diploma, or, if students have a prior degree, a Masters level programme at MGSM. The programme consists of three course units.

 Core Units

The Postgraduate Certificate has been specifically structured to suit the needs of students with active professional careers and allows students to gain an insight in general management.

MGSM's Postgraduate Certificate has broad ranging appeal. The programme particularly suits those with a technical or professional background, looking to further develop their management skills through the completion of the three foundation units.

· Organisational Behaviour
· Marketing Management

Course Duration

The Postgraduate Certificate can be completed in six to nine months of part-time study, depending on timetable availability.

Assessment Methods

 MGSM utilises a variety of assessment procedures, which include:

· Individual and group assignments
· Individual and group presentations
· Examinations
· Class participation

Not all units have exams. In some units, performance and class participation marks are awarded. Weightings of each component will vary across units.
