The Master
of Business Administration is a generalist degree designed to give
students a solid grounding in the core aspects of general management. It
aims to achieve a strategic business perspective, focusing on the
competitive advantage of the enterprise. The MBA teaches students how to
manage functional areas and understand the language they use, not how to
perform the functions with technical expertise. The MGSM MBA consists of
sixteen course units.
The MGSM MBA was ranked #81 in the world by the Economist Intelligence
Unit's Which MBA? global survey of full-time MBA programmes in 2006.
