Module 4 - Organisational Development (OD) - 36 Hours
This module provides the basic theoretical and
competency based approach in OD. It will enable the learner to diagnose
and propose the appropriate OD interventions to develop their
organisational capabilities, effectiveness and performance.

Module 5 - Leading Change (via e-Learning & ^Classroom Training) -
^14 Hours
This module explores the models of change and addresses
the key activities related to successfully leading and a change effort
in an organisation.
Managers are important focus for their teams. During
periods of change, their behaviour sets the tone for their team’s
behaviour. They embody and represent their organisation. Business as
usual now involves integrating market changes, staying ahead of the
competition, adopting new technology, taking calculated risk and working
to new rules. Every change is a new adventure with varied pace and
time-frames. The human cycles are longer than economic cycles hence
high-performing organizations integrate OD Manager’s role in change
management as essential component to achieve their strategic business
goals.
The module is offered on a blended learning platform
which involves 14 hours of ^classroom training plus 5 e-Self-Learning
modules.
The module will be delivered in following approach:

^^The e-Learning modules are to be completed according
to one’s learning schedule/pace within a maximum duration of estimated 8
weeks from date of commencement of the semester/module. The e-Learning
period clocked in by the learner can be recorded if required.

sequence.

Course Duration
- 5 months; 168 training hours
- 5 modules
- Lessons are conducted on Friday evening (7pm to 10pm) and/or weekend
(full day; 10am to 6:30pm)
Assessment Methods
Candidates are assessed by assignments and written
examinations at the end of each module except for Strategic & Change
Management module whereby assessment is based on Group and Individual
Assignments. For Leading Change module, assessment will be based on
^^data compiled from Pre & Post Skills e-Assessment, Group and/or
Individual Assignment(s).
Postgraduate Diploma in HR and Organisational
Development & Change will be awarded by SHRI upon successful
completion of the programme and graduates may use the title "PGDipODC"
after their names.
Exemption Criteria
Advancement
PGDipODC graduates holding a bachelor degree are
encouraged to enroll in the Master of Human Resources programme, jointly
offered by Curtin University of Technology and SHRI, subject to
acceptance by the University.
