SHRI’s
CFS prepares candidates who are interested in a career in, or have
just entered the financial services industry. The Certificate programme
provides participants with a broad understanding of the financial
system, its structure and services; monetary economics; delivery
channels and practices in financial services; basic concepts in
analysing financial statements; and business English and communication.
The Certificate in Financial Services is a one-year part-time evening
programme comprising two parts with three modules in each part.

Course Duration

Lessons are conducted thrice a week
Assessment
Methods
Candidates will
be assessed on written examinations at the end of each semester. A
three-hour examination for each module will be held at the end of each
semester. Candidates who have passed all six modules and satisfied all
requirements will be awarded the Certificate in Financial Services.
Advancement
Upon successful
completion, participants are encouraged to pursue either the Skills
Certification Programme or the Diploma in Banking and Finance or Diploma
in Investment programmes.
