Introduced in 2006, the
HR
Accreditation Framework
allows existing and
aspiring HR practitioners to assess their own qualifications and work to
improve their competency levels. This framework will also enhance their
employability, allowing employers to establish benchmark and upgrade the
skills, knowledge and competence required of the HR team. Applicant of
the HR Accreditation will be assessed based on either academic
qualifications or results of the examination taken (whichever is
preferred), professional portfolio (competency assessment and working
experience) and professional development.
Under the HR
Accreditation Points System, the applicant will earn the following
points through the taking up of a SHRI academic programme or workshop as
follows:
